CUSD: Home School-Benefits of Online Learning
Benefits of Online learning
Online learning is rapidly becoming an acceptable form of content delivery in many states across the country. Students are being asked to take courses on-line in order to prepare them for higher level learning and eventually, the career paths they will follow. Some of the benefits of online learning include:
  • Individualized learning that meets the students at their academic ability level whether they are working on, below or above grade level.
  • Students can repeat all or parts of a lesson until they have full comprehension of the concept being taught.
  • Students can take courses that aren’t regularly available to them through traditional schooling.
  • Students can work at times that are convenient to them and not necessarily during traditional school hours.
  • Students can have direct access to the online teacher and get personalized attention for questions and support.
